CHALLENGE
Women for Women International approached us mid 2012 about designing a suite of materials for their annual Gala, celebrating their work and honoring people who helped women survivors of war rebuild their lives. They gave us carte blanche in terms of design, only requesting that the design incorporate photography of their program participants.
SOLUTION
We selected a series of stunning photographs of the women in their programs as the basis for the design. We wanted the imagery to provide a feeling of hope, inspiration and celebration. We also recolored each picture so that they all matched visually. We also created an event logo and event branding guidelines based around the colors and photography chosen.
RESULT
The result was event collateral which the client called the best in years. The invitation was clean and sophisticated, highlighting three diverse women. The colors and imagery translated well to a 50 page program booklet that was also created for the event.
